Workforce ITSC's Academy

About

The Workforce IT Support Center (Workforce ITSC) supports workforce system partners as they work collaboratively to implement customer-centered, program-led, and cost-effective solutions in the digital age.

Workforce ITSC services help states enhance their capacity to implement national, state, and local visions for a more tech and staff-enabled workforce education system that delivers value for customers and communities across the country.

The Center provides:

  • a suite of easy-to-use online tools,
  • in-demand learning opportunities (Workforce Academy or Academy), and
  • advisory services.

Workforce ITSC is a federally funded initiative administered by the National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA) with a steering committee comprised of federal and state partners representing workforce, education, vocational rehabilitation, unemployment, and welfare programs responsible for its governance and oversight.

The Academy was created to expand capacity and adaptability in and around workforce and education systems set in the digital age. The Academy’s learning products and services align to resources available through the Workforce ITSC’s Online Tools and reflect the knowledge and experience of system stakeholders, as well as digital government and technology industry experts. Planners and doers, decision-makers and implementers, ecosystem professionals and partners – all will find resources to inform and advance their work.

Learning opportunities are available on-demand and through scheduled virtual instructor-led training events. Find out more about current Academy courses designed for busy workforce development professionals across programs by selecting the links below.

Stay tuned for more offerings being released in the certificates above and the Digital Transformation for the Workforce System Masterclass Series starting Spring 2022.

To access learning, visit the Workforce Academy page and follow the instructions to register. Connect with Workforce ITSC at witsc@naswa.org for requests or more information about the Center.
